Islamabad: The Supreme Court of Pakistan delivered an important constitutional ruling regarding intra-party elections of political parties. According to the constitutional bench, guidelines have been issued for intra-party elections. Political parties will conduct their elections in accordance with these guidelines. The court also clarified that the Constitution of Pakistan is the foundation of democracy and must be upheld. Various parties welcomed the decision.
