Iranian President Masoud Pezeshkian on Pakistan’s Independence Day: “Our Shared Interests and Destinies Are More Intertwined Than Ever”
TEHRAN: Iranian President Masoud Pezeshkian has extended heartfelt greetings to Pakistan on its Independence Day, calling it a “precious opportunity” to pay tribute to the achievements of the great Pakistani nation.
In his message, President Pezeshkian stated that Pakistan’s Independence Day marks a new turning point to further deepen and expand the longstanding and strategic ties between Iran and Pakistan.
“Iran remains committed to strengthening comprehensive relations with Pakistan,” the Iranian President said. “We are ready to take more effective steps to bolster bilateral ties by leveraging mutual trust, respect, and the vast existing potential.”
He emphasized that the need for greater harmony and cooperation between Iran and Pakistan has grown more than ever, adding that “the shared interests and destinies of Iran and Pakistan are now more intertwined than ever before.”
